Adventist Wheel: We Are Sabbath, Part II: An Event Worth Celebrating

    Travis,
This was just beautiful--I don't think I have heard a better description of Sabbath. I am sincerely touched by these inspirational thoughts on the meaning of Sabbath.

Getting back to the core of our understanding of God is far more important than following the mere traditions we've allowed to overtake us. It's not just that the traditions are bad - in fact, many of them are quite good. But we should never settle for the merely good - we must always pursue the great!

Another comment--please send this to Adventist Review. I think it is worth publishing and they should accept it. I would suggest sending it to Roy Adams. Although he will pass it on with others for screening, it might give him chance to see it first.

Thank you. I did send it off to AR through Roy Adams. Ella
